This 5-inch wide, 1/4 inch thick A36 steel plate is precision cut from hot rolled A36 mild carbon steel, making it ideal for a wide range of structural, industrial, and fabrication applications. Known for its strength, durability, and excellent weldability, A36 steel is one of the most commonly used materials in metal fabrication and repair work.

Each piece is CNC plasma cut to ensure consistent sizing and straight edges. The 1/4" thickness provides excellent rigidity while remaining easy to weld, drill, and machine with standard shop equipment. This flat steel plate is commonly used for brackets, mounting plates, frames, supports, gussets, repairs, and general shop projects.

Plates are supplied in raw hot rolled condition and may show mill scale, light surface rust, or handling marks—normal characteristics of hot rolled steel that do not affect performance or strength.
